A marking robot is to be developed for automatic marking in large halls. The aim of the project is to automate the entire marking process with this robot. Process reliability is to be achieved through accompanying, statistically supported, error-sensitive analyses and optical quality assurance. The primary development goal is to increase the accuracy of the robots that are currently commercially available. This increase in accuracy (submillimeter range) results in correspondingly higher requirements for the robot's driving accuracy/positioning and manufacturing tolerances. Furthermore, additional dynamic influencing factors must be taken into account and, in particular, higher demands are placed on calibration.
